Did you know that ...? Are MOS-FET type transistors very sensitive to static electricity, if they are with air terminals? Mount on the wiring, along with other parts, and if they do not have a terminal in the air, there are no problems. Also, more there is the recommendation that for the installations that contain MOS-FETs the soldering is done with a soldering hammer that has the tip tied to a grounding belt.
Field effect transistors they are found in a wide variety of circuits. The projects described here include radio frequency amplifiers and converters, test equipment and reception devices, tuners, receivers, mixers and tone controls, as well as various useful devices in the house. The book is recommended for shortwave listeners, radio amateurs, experimenters or audio devotees.
It will be found that, in general, the 'real' FET used in circuits is not critical, and many suitable types will work satisfactorily. FET is a low-noise, high-gain, multi-purpose device and "dual gate FET" is a special utility for mixers and other applications.

Once upon a time there were MOSFETs with short-circuited terminals that move away after soldering! God help me get rid of those precautions.
